Health and Wellness: Learn the Art of Relaxation Through Meditation
The health and fitness app aimed to provide users with guidance and tools that promoted mindfulness, productivity, calm, and relaxation. The app, with its special meditation, discovery programs, and life tools, helps relieve stress, anxiety, burnout, sleeplessness, and more.
Presence of an Existing Non-Functioning Application
The client was a renowned mental health pioneer, author, and humanitarian activist who has been in the business since 2014. Unfortunately, their existing app was outdated; reviews and ratings on the app store were poor, the download counts were constantly declining, there were frequent crashes, and the UI/UX was very unattractive.
The project scope for us was to better every non-functioning element of the application. We had to build a high-end UX, robust iOS & Android app, customize audio player integrations, add in 3rd party integrations, and develop APIs.
Creating a Powerful, Aesthetically Appealing App
Our team was ready to take on the challenges as we signed the project in December 2019. The Ailoitte team kicked off the project and worked with them extensively from January 2019 to August 2020.
The UX/UI was a challenge. We had to provide a user experience that could connect with users visually and spiritually. Eye-catching colors, fonts, and typography were used for the app. We redesigned the UI/UX to increase engagement, installation, and retention.
While experimenting with emerging technologies, we did a complete overhaul and rebuilt the iOS and Android app through rapid releases and released the first version in 2 months. Over time, we made multiple upgrades, fixed bugs, eliminated performance issues, added security and payment gateways, and more.
The next challenge we overcame was creating a smooth audio player seamlessly integrated with the app.

The application was a culmination of three web versions - user portal, admin panel, and enterprise portal. The end goal with all the versions was the same - make the app experience as relaxing and easy as the journey towards mental health and wellness.
